Dynamical Zeta Functions, Nielsen Theory and Reidemeister Torsion by Alexander Fel'Shtyn, X

Dynamical Zeta Functions, Nielsen Theory and Reidemeister Torsion by Alexander Fel'Shtyn, X
This book deals with the study of new dynamical zeta functions connected with Nielsen fixed point theory. The study of dynamical zeta functions is part of the theory of dynamical systems, but it is also intimately related to algebraic geometry, number theory, topology function of skeletal system part and statistical mechanics. The book consists of four parts. Part I present a brief account of Nielsen fixed point theory. Part II deals with dynamical zeta functions connected with Nielsen fixed point theory. Part III is concerned with an analog of Dold congruences for the Reidemeister function of skeletal system part and Nielsen numbers. Part IV explains how dynamical zeta functions give rise to Reidemeister torsion, a very important topological invariant which has useful applications in knots theory, quantum field theory function of skeletal system part and dynamical systems.

Neural Organization: Structure, Function, and Dynamics by Michael A. Arbib, X

Neural Organization: Structure, Function, and Dynamics by Michael A. Arbib, X
In "Neural Organization, Arbib, Erdi, function of skeletal system part and Szentagothai integrate structural, functional, function of skeletal system part and dynamical approaches to the interaction of brain models function of skeletal system part and neurobiologcal experiments. Both structure-based "bottom-up" function of skeletal system part and function- based "top-down" models offer coherent concepts by which to evaluate the experimental data. The goal of this book is to point out the advantages of a multidisciplinary, multistrategied approach to the brain.Part I of "Neural Organization provides a detailed introduction to each of the three areas of structure, function, function of skeletal system part and dynamics. "Structure refers to the anatomical aspects of the brain function of skeletal system part and the relations between different brain regions. "Function refers to skills function of skeletal system part and behaviors, which are explained by means of functional schemas function of skeletal system part and biologically based neural networks. "Dynamics refers to the use of a mathematical framework to analyze the temporal change of neural activities function of skeletal system part and synaptic connectivities that underlie brain development function of skeletal system part and plasticity--in terms of both detailed single-cell models function of skeletal system part and large-scale network models. In part II, the authors show how their systematic approach can be used to analyze specific parts of the nervous system--the olfactory system, hippocampus, thalamus, cerebral cortex, cerebellum, function of skeletal system part and basal ganglia--as well as to integrate data from the study of brain regions, functional models, function of skeletal system part and the dynamics of neural networks. In conclusion, they offer a plan for the use of their methods in the development of cognitive neuroscience.

Somatic nervous system - The somatic nervous system is that part of the peripheral nervous system associated with the voluntary control of body movements through the action of skeletal muscles, and also reception of external stimuli. The somatic nervous system consists of efferent fibers that receive information from external sources, and afferent fibers that are responsible for muscle contraction.

Air-conditioning system - Air-conditioning systems serve to maintain indoor air within the two-dimensional comfort zone defined by a temperature and relative humidity region. As such they are part of space-conditioning systems for heating or cooling indoor space, although typically viewed as cooling systems that function when the outdoor conditions are outside the comfort zone.

Iterated function system - Iterated function systems or IFS, are a kind of fractal that was

Marginal stability - In the theory of dynamical systems, and control theory, a continuous linear time-invariant system is marginally stable iff the real part of every eigenvalue (or pole) in the system's transfer-function is non-positive, and all eigenvalues with zero real value are simple roots (i.e.
